Privacy Policy

Who we are

Maurice Elsäßer, Feldbergstraße 18, 75239 Eisingen, Germany (see Imprint).

What data is processed

This website itself does not set cookies and does not collect personal data of its own accord. We use no analytics or tracking tools and no contact form. (For affiliate links to Amazon, see the section below.) When you make a purchase, checkout is handled by Payhip Ltd (payhip.com), which processes your email address and payment details to deliver your download. Payment is processed by PayPal or the card provider you choose. The legal basis is the performance of the purchase contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Please see the Payhip privacy policy and the privacy policy of your chosen payment provider.

On pages with buy buttons (home page and recipes), a script from payhip.com is loaded when you open the page. This technically transmits your IP address to Payhip. Please see the Payhip privacy policy for whether and which cookies Payhip sets.

Affiliate links (Amazon)

Our Tools page contains affiliate links to products on Amazon.de. We take part in the Amazon EU Associates Programme (Amazon PartnerNet), an affiliate advertising programme that lets websites earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.de. These links are marked as advertising.

Simply visiting our website does not send any data to Amazon. Only when you click an affiliate link are you forwarded to Amazon.de. Amazon may then set cookies and use similar technologies to recognise that you came from our website, so that we can be credited for qualifying purchases. Amazon processes this data under its own responsibility; please see the Amazon privacy notice. We do not receive personal data about you or your purchases, only aggregated reports about clicks and orders. The links never change the price you pay.

Hosting

This site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, USA). The hosting provider may process technical data such as your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested page and browser details, in server logs to deliver the site securely; this may involve a transfer of data to the USA. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and efficient website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Please see the Netlify privacy policy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20), the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77). The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg. Contact us at maurice.elsaesser@web.de for any privacy request.
