  • Phases and rounds. From the first mix through the refresh cycle and the change of flour to your lievito madre.
  • Doubling log. Enter how long your starter needs to double. It tells you when you are ready for the next phase.
  • Tests. The dome test and the float test, explained step by step.
  • Notes and photos. Keep a short diary of your starter, if you like.
  • Badges and a medal. Small milestones on the way, and a medal with your starter's name and age at the end.

The Starter Colleague is a web app. You open a private link in your browser, nothing to install and no account to create. On your phone you can add it to the home screen, then it opens like an app and works without internet.

Your progress is saved on your device only. You can back it up as a file at any time and load it again on a new phone.
